VA Aid & Attendance benefit calculator

The VA’s Aid & Attendance pension can add up to $2,424 a month for a wartime veteran with no dependents, $2,874 for a veteran with a spouse, or $1,558 for a surviving spouse, toward the cost of care for those who need help with daily activities. Estimate the benefit using the current rates (Dec 1, 2025 – Nov 30, 2026).

Estimate only, using the VA’s published Maximum Annual Pension Rates effective Dec 1, 2025. This site is not affiliated with the VA. Aid & Attendance also requires qualifying wartime service and a doctor-certified care need. Never pay to apply — a VA-accredited agent, attorney, or a Veterans Service Officer (VFW/DAV/American Legion) helps for free. Start at va.gov/pension.
